Online poker has become world famous as of late, with televised events and celebrity poker game events. Its universal appeal, though, stretches back in reality a bit farther than its television ratings. Over the years several types on the earliest poker game have been created, including a handful of games that are not really poker anymore. Caribbean stud poker is 1 of the above-mentioned games. Despite the name, Caribbean stud poker is more closely resembling 21 than traditional poker, in that the gamblers bet against the bank rather than the other players. The winning hands, are the traditional poker hands. There is no conniving or different types of deception. In Caribbean stud poker, you are expected to ante up prior to the dealer saying "No more bets." At that point, both you and the house and of course all of the other players attain five cards. After you have looked at your hand and the dealer’s first card, you need to in turn make a call bet or accede. The call wager’s value is on same level to your original bet, indicating that the risks will have increased two fold. Bowing out means that your bet goes immediately to the house. After the wager comes the conclusion. If the casino doesn’t have ace/king or better, your bet is given back, with a sum on par with the initial wager. If the bank does have ace/king or better, you win if your hand beats the bank’s hand. The casino pays chips equal to your initial bet and set expectations on your call wager. These odds are:
- Equal for a pair or high card
- 2-1 for two pairs
- three to one for three of a kind
- four to one for a straight
- 5-1 for a flush
- seven to one for a full house
- twenty to one for a four of a kind
- 50-1 for a straight flush
- 100-1 for a royal flush
