Have you seen the new PokerPro texas hold’em poker tables? The very first time I saw the PokerPro tables was about two weeks ago when I took a quick trip with my parents to the WinStar Gambling den in Oklahoma.
As I anxiously waited for my name to be acknowledged at the live tables, I noticed how the other persons at the PokerPro tables interface with one another. It was very intriguing to say the least. Since the poker table was controlled by a computer, there had been no poker chips to do any chip tips, no cards to shuffle and the actual live encounter was boring. Maybe I was the only one that spotted this, but I did observe the gamblers at the table had a lifeless high quality to them. The cause of this may well be since there was no human interaction with the croupier, the atmosphere was relatively dull and the gamblers looked bored to death. It was almost as if I was looking at a live variant of a web based texas hold’em poker room rather than being seated with warm bodied humans. It was a tiny bit freaky and I continued to have flash backs to a show of Star trek and the holodeck broke down.
Since the waiting time for the are living tables for more than an hour, I decided to see how the game action was and to understanding this new hold’em poker gaming technology. Soon after wagering a couple of hands, I truly felt like I was wagering at residence. The lack of activity on the table was the primary reason. I prefer to shuffle and stack my chips, and mix my cards around. None of those things are feasible at these digital tables.
Another thing I observed was how the program dealt the flop, turn and river cards. I bet a great deal of hands at the PokerPro table and noticed that the play was a good deal like a web based texas holdem poker site. That might have been just a coincidence, but I found it to be quite odd.
Right after betting a few rounds with this "unique hold’em poker technology", I determined that the PokerPro tables had been not for me. I’m far better off betting hold’em poker online at house and not travel the distance. If WinStar Gambling house have been to obtain rid of the are living poker tables, I think they would shed a good deal of gamblers.
