Horrible Fortune in Poker

For a match where most enthusiasts occasionally consider luck, there are tonnes of superstitions in poker. When you mention that someone was blessed in that poker tournament they captured, be careful of how you mention it. For example, if you say that you were unfortunate, your fortune may never change.

Ok, that might appear to be a bit ubsurd, but poker is a casino game loaded with superstitions. Did you know that if you are gambling a game with 2 seperate decks and you’re asked to choose the deck, you should always choose the deck of cards that’s the furthest away from you? Or, what If you get a streak of terrible cards, you must settle on a hankerchief to break your horrible luck? It’s certainly thought of as good fortune to blow through a deck of cards when they are being mixed up.

Some other interesting poker superstitions are:

  • You will be able to change the run of cards by going around your chair 3 times.
  • The most beneficial spot at the poker table faces the entrance.
  • The worst chair has its rear to a fireplace.
  • When changing seats, you should always do so following the clock.
  • The most detrimental poker card is the four of clubs.
  • It is very unlucky to cross your legs when sitting at the poker table.
  • Fri is a horrible day for playing cards.
  • The thirteenth is also a horrible day, no matter when it falls during the week.
